LA RECENSIONE

"I still love the light on baby": the Editors at the Rolling Stone, a beautiful thing, much more rock than the album, much less dark than people say. Exasperating, hypnotic, warm in the slow songs; convulsive & restless in the pounding ones. Lights-Blood-All sparks-Fall-Bullets-Disappear-Camera-You are fading-Munich-Open your arms-Fingers in the factories: perhaps a short setlist, limited time; acoustics: amazing. I don't care.

The Editors are the coolest thing I've seen and heard, after Interpol. "I wanted to see this for myself." (Fall)

This review highlights Editors' energetic and hypnotic live show at Rolling Stone Milano, emphasizing a more rock-driven and warmer sound than their album. The setlist, though short, and the acoustics impress the reviewer. Editors are praised as one of the coolest live acts recently, compared to Interpol.

Editors

Editors are an English rock band from Birmingham, frequently associated with post-punk revival and later synth-driven rock. DeBaser reviewers focus on their early dark, guitar-led records, their electronic shift on the third album, and a recurring debate about strong influences versus a search for a distinct identity.
