Dream Theater Octavarium
Voto:
"Let’s start from this title, 'Octavarium', which signifies the eighth labor, work, (masterpiece?) of the American quintet, and from the artwork that depicts a series of juggling balls (those used for the conservation of momentum, just to be clear) of which the last one is engraved with the band’s symbol and is about to hit the other balls, set against a backdrop of green hills... DU PALLE, and the cover seems to confirm my theory."

But look, in life it's important not to rely on the judgments of others and to move forward with your head held high. Don't be so obsessed with grades and enjoy life, maybe by going to see the SY live (scary, and they're coming back to Italy soon).
Sonic Youth Bad Moon Rising

On this album, the drummer of Sonic Youth wasn't yet Steve Shelley, but rather Bob Bert. Serene sounds? I don't hear them at all; instead, it feels like one long, disorienting, and dark psychedelic suite. And enough with the pomp and bullshit, it's a real mess, take a nice 3! :P

Extraordinary producers of extreme music. In short, I love them; "Destroy Erase Improve" is one of my all-time favorite albums, and I've read great reviews about it. It's definitely worth checking out. They also have great things to say about the new Napalm Death ;)

Qzerty, I also recommend "Strictly Turntablized," "Milight," and of course the megamasterpiece "Kakusei" ;) If you want to delve into the character and his incredible skills as a selector, I also suggest "Code 4109," an amazing DJ set where he mixes hip-hop, jazz, Bulgarian radio voices, and whatever else you can think of. From his latest works, I really enjoyed "The Message At The Depth," while the most recent "Jaku" disappointed me a bit, as if the new age element of Krush's music had overshadowed the rest. That's all folks, now your wallet is probably doing some voodoo with my little statue and the pins :D

A reinterpretation with farts and burps of a piece by Electric Wizard is fine?
Elisa Pearl Days

Here’s a useful review of "Pearl Days" by Elisa and, I emphasize, a necessary review of her entire discography. Well done, good, encore, the next one make it a CD of Sbirulino’s stornelli.
