There’s no doubt that it's a landmark; it's an album that probably predated Fusion and contemporary Jazz, which I don’t appreciate much due to the excessive dominance of the technical factor over the "atmospheric" one, which was instead the focus of the productions of the first half of the '70s ;-)

For me, the best by Jaco is undoubtedly the first self-titled one. Damn, can you believe that "Hocus Pocus" was sampled by "The Loop Digga" Madlib ;-)
