I join the unanimous opinions on the supposed "gnoccaggine" of Scabbia; they've never really convinced me much. However, I didn't mind "Comalies" ;-)
Miles Davis On The Corner
Voto:
My favorite work by Miles Davis (perhaps even more than "Bitches Brew" and "In A Silent Way"), definitely his funkiest and grooviest album. Kudos for bringing it back, Fagen :-)
Edie Brickell and The New Bohemians Shooting Rubberbands At The Stars

I happily notice the obvious nostalgia factor brought up by many comments. Listening to the album, I feel the same sensation, even though I was only 3 years old or just a bit more in 1988. Could it perhaps be the veiled melancholy that connects each song to the past of each one of us? Or the flash-in-the-pan career of Edie Brickell? I can’t say, but each time I listen to it, I see the past of a now grown-up 21-year-old flowing before my eyes, filled with memories of childhood and awkward adolescence left behind :-)
Lucio Battisti Don Giovanni
Voto:
As I have already stated elsewhere, I don’t find "E Già" as disastrous as it is defined; on the contrary, it truly seems like a unique work in Battisti's production, his New Wave and electronic album. Of course, the lyrics sometimes border on the trivial, but I don’t feel it's a work to be tossed aside. I also don’t mind the lyrical and musical experiments of "Don Giovanni"; I don't consider it overrated at all. Excellent review, Marco, too bad it’s the third one.

Blind Guardian Fly

As a humble ignoramus, I ask a question: why talk about innovative sound only to define the track as "a typical piece pulled off like Blind Guardian, made of chants, counter-chants, solos, electric vibratos, a rather limited use of the synthesizer (the downfall of the band's previous work), and the usual energy that characterizes the music of the four bards"? To posterity the difficult verdict...
Pink Floyd Meddle
Voto:
We really needed a review on Pink Floyd, right? But it's just the second track of "Meddle" :-)

I preferred the previous review of "Vespertine," Sofia; perhaps a minimal introduction was necessary, promptly pointed out by that uptight southern guy Qzerty! :D

Ahahah Sick Of It All, how great! Great job, Mauri :-)
