Just when the audience begins to balk, two young guys in red shirts and black ties, in perfect Kraftwerk style, rush out from the wings and immediately "shoulder" their instruments: the synthesizers, the very ones that will send the audience into a frenzy. It starts with "Royksopp’s Night Out," which warms up the muscles of those at the Rolling Stone, then, by the third song, the beautiful "What Else Is There?", the group's singer appears, six months pregnant: Anneli Drecker, who gently accompanies the melody.
Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland squeeze the electronic drums, jump, and promptly thank the audience at the end of each song, saying how happy they are to be in Milan. After a little more than half an hour of concert, however, they say goodbye and leave, waiting for the audience, of course, to ask for an encore. It goes on for about an hour. Indeed, it seems they don't want to leave, there will be five encores, up to the engaging covers of "What Does It Feel Like?" and "Go With The Flow." Great energy and connection with the audience. An ideal evening to dance and forget life's problems.
