In fact, I rate 5 some works by Fabri Fibra, Big D. I give 5 to his collaboration with Fritz Da Cat on "950", I give 5 to "Sindrome Di Fine Millennio" by Uomini Di Mare, I give 5 to the "Basley Click" project with Fede of the Lyricalz and the aforementioned Fritz. Did you think there was only "Applausi Per Fibra"? :-)

I like "Satisfaction," and also everything from "Hypnotica" :-)) I don't mind them either, the video in heavy rotation on Flux is nice too.

Oh yes, the soundtrack is also nice with snippets from the movie ("Come On Feet" has also been sampled by Madlib!). I take this opportunity to remind you of a couple more titles: "Black Belt Jones" with Jim Kelly, the story of a kung-fu playa in the city who takes down the entire crime syndicate of the ghetto with kicks and punches, and a couple of quirky sequels and TV shows for fans of B-movies and various trash: "Shaft In Africa" and the series "Policewoman," which also aired for a long time on Sky. Get ready to expand the list, odra :-))

Okay, but can we not talk about the album?
Frankie Hi-Nrg Mc Verba Manent

An album of great historical importance, an essential work that marked a definitive break with the posse movement of the early '90s, laying the foundations for the future Italian Hip-Hop scene. I repeat, the fact that it may sound a bit dated today is of little significance: "Verba Manent" remains an unassessable album, on par with "La Rapadopa" or "SXM," a small local cult that every Rap enthusiast or lover of good music should own. FIGHT DA FAIDA! :-)

Great album, even though I still prefer the debut "Off The Wall." I also wonder what AC/DC has to do with it and the usual comparisons to "The Dark Side Of The Moon" and (alleged) milestones of Rock in a review of a Pop album produced by a Pop artist: it almost feels like seeing those clueless tourists who travel the world just to make far-fetched comparisons with their hometown, where they surely EAT AND LIVE BETTER. All of this in the spirit of absolute mental limitation.

What intriguing discussions filled with incredible pathos! :-) I miss the album; for the period 81-85, I'm currently settling for the collection "The Singles 81-85." Should I get my hands on it?
Curtis Mayfield Superfly

I have always considered "Superfly" the best; I even prefer it to the more renowned "Shaft" (which has a pretty solid soundtrack as well;). Both are available on DVD, including dubbed versions in Italian, although I prefer to watch them in the original language with subtitles. Also, keep an eye out for other titles that might interest you and are less easily found: "Coffy" and "Foxy Brown" with the incredibly hot Pam Grier, "Sweet Sweetback's Baadassss Song" by Melvin Van Peebles (I believe it's hard to find unless through P2P!), "Truck Turner" with Isaac Hayes in the leading role, and "Trouble Man," with a magnificent OST by Marvin Gaye to boot. That's all! :-)

I join the words of good Soc, adding only that in addition to "New Gold Dream," I also own "Empire And Dance," probably their most experimental work and closest to industrial. Beautiful page.

No Lone, apart from those I mentioned, I listened to those by Tiga, Daddy G, and Erlend Oye. All very enjoyable anyway ;-)
