Ok, finally a space to talk about the evening... first of all, I'm sorry I spent so little time with you, but when you arrived I was really caught up with some logistical issues... when G showed up, I ran to meet him and with every step he became bigger and bigger... and I became smaller! Anyway, it was an amazing evening, you’re really great people (including extro and his lady, of course). The demeeting should happen more often! 2 things:
1- G definitely knows how to deal with women
2- I beat G at arm wrestling.................. then I woke up...

Tom Hardy is truly out of this world... even in Drive, Refn has that Tarantino-esque ability to push actors to the max...

a very peculiar and personal film...Refn has been a great discovery (I loved Drive)...for me the comparison with A Clockwork Orange makes sense but is reductive; it should be compared to Kubrick in general (I found a lot of Eyes Wide Shut in this film as well).
