ps. the Italian title is obviously shit
Gus Van Sant L'amore che resta

A highly refined film that never falls into the banal...the quote you mentioned at the beginning of the review, besides being so sugary it could make you vomit, is not the most significant since they say it while pretending her death (they are acting). Well done, Van Sant, for telling such a story without excessive pathos. The idea of the kamikaze ghost is excellent. The soundtrack and actors are spot on.

I’ve had it on the shelf for months and I still haven’t started it... as soon as I decide, I’ll go over it.

I listened to them on YouTube, I expected them to be terrible... but they’re not bad at all. Too bad for that such invasive synth; I would have used a heavy bass instead. P.S. I think if they know you compared them to those useless pieces of crap like I CANI, they’ll sue you.

"but we are still talking about a blockbuster and superheroes"...damn, finally someone who reviews it for what it is. 5 just for that.
David Fincher Seven

Honestly, this movie never really left me "frozen"; it might be because I grew up with violence and splatter (both in films and video games)... If I have to think of a movie that “traumatized” me, I would say Requiem for a Dream, which I watched around 20 years old. This remains an excellent thriller.
Paul Haggis The Next Three Days

You’re right, perhaps it’s excessively long... it lingers too much on the psychology of the characters (even when it’s not necessary). A film that starts well and increasingly deteriorates as the plot progresses...

But you... how could you think of buying a CD with that kind of shit on the cover? Just so you know, sometimes the habit really does make the monk...
Jason Reitman Juno
Voto:
All the characters are defined by their personalities (I also like the stepmother "do you want to give my daughter this fucking epidural?). Juno is an almost cartoonish character that remains, however, 100% believable. Great dialogues and a classic ending. A really great comedy.
