In agreement with Bartolino. Also because people are throwing shade since it's a sort of remake of a classic. If you take it as a cheesy action film, with a cool character, 3-4 fantastic scenes (the basketball court, surfing, the doctor who wants to rip out his eye—which by the way I think is Bruce Campbell) it’s just pure fun.

I've never understood why everyone thinks of it as a piece of crap... for me, it's a great, fun, and excessive guilty pleasure. Plus, Jena is better developed and more of a "character" than in the prequel, which, by the way, I find has aged really poorly.
