@bartleboom: damn if there's really a scene like that I have to watch it absolutely...
Robert Rodriguez Planet Terror

The wanted trash had already been done in the second part of From Dusk Till Dawn (with better results)... this film is nice, but Tarantino's chapter sweeps it away (even though Machete is awesome)...
Quentin Tarantino Bastardi Senza Gloria

In fact, giving this film a 5 is like comparing it to the glories of Pulp Fiction (that one truly deserves a 5, but also Reservoir Dogs)... and that seems blasphemous to me... as Gala says, this film at times feels soulless... it seems that Quentin at times "has to do" rather than "wants to do"...
Zack Snyder Watchmen

cute...at times really boring though...the introduction of the movie is very beautiful...(but in the comic, did Dr. Manhattan's dick show so much?)
Coen Brothers The Big Lebowski

Goodman made me laugh hard...

Rodriguez MUST make a movie about machete...damn that would be a nice piece of trash...

@psycroptic: that scene disappointed me instead (better the scalps of the Nazis, I enjoyed that more)... a more inspired Tarantino would have killed all those Nazis in a much more "refined" way... he wrapped it up with a sort of poetic justice that honestly feels a bit predictable...

@jdv666: out of the box because honestly they're unusual for a group of pretty girls (guns, action movies, cars) but true and credible... they seem very "fresh" to me... I liked them more than those in Inglourious Basterds (maybe hindered by subtitles in languages unknown to me)... then, well, clearly it's a matter of taste...

@nuke77: I think pretty much like you about this movie... but the dialogues in Death Proof are wonderful... also because they are almost all female... and getting into the minds of a group of girls in such a "real" and unconventional way (avoiding clichés or usual women’s conversations) is very difficult, especially when there’s nothing to say...
