ALEX: as a basic idea, it reminded me a lot of the humor, some characters, the direction... then the contents are different... but this is also fun... better than Zombieland (even though I only gave it a 3 in the review, an unforgivable mistake... especially after having rewatched it... what an idiot I am)

NES: I remember that in the review of Zombieland you scolded me (rightly so, looking back) for giving the film only a 3 and telling me something like "Do you realize the crap that Hollywood churns out?"... I think that this film, both in its direction and in how it is structured and "crafted," is truly remarkable... it might not appeal to everyone (the plot didn’t exactly blow me away either, but it’s based on a comic)... in my opinion, it’s really fresh air... but then again, it's a matter of taste, bye (and anyway, in some aspects, it does remind me of Zombieland, starting from the utterly unlucky protagonist...)
