I have fuzzy memories... I should see it again... the review is touching and makes me think of a professor of mine who recently passed away and whom I respected a lot...

MAGNUM: Yes, I deliberately left out the socio-political message... also because when I go to see Rodriguez, I want to see a proper mess, maybe that’s what weighed down the plot... in short, I want Z-grade cinema!
BARTLE: I have the Mariachi trilogy on DVD and I pull it out when I want to goof around with some friends, maybe after a couple of beers... the fun is always guaranteed... I watched Sin City in the theater and loved it... with Planet Terror, always in the cinema, I remember I left the room with tears in my eyes... and from Machete, I expected the same effect...
