I really enjoyed the review. Hip hop is a genre I'm not very familiar with; perhaps what holds me back is not understanding the words, since a good part of its effectiveness relies on the quality of the rhymes... for instance, a group I love a lot is Uochi Toki, precisely because I appreciate their lyrics. Anyway, I compliment you, you've made me considerably curious.

Beautiful. This is one of those albums that has been on my shopping list for ages. Sooner or later, I’ll decide to get it. The review confirms the idea I had about the band in question: synth-shoegaze. One observation about you: summer’s over, huh? ;)

Regarding the concept that post-rock (the real one, the one born on the Louisville-Chicago axis) is no longer "post," I agree with you. As for the other concept, that Mogwai are overrated, I stand by my opinion, which is that it's not the case at all. And even if they had only made Young Team; after all, even Slint are remembered for just Spiderland. No one recalls or cites the others (Tweez and what else?).
