Charles Bukowski Compagno di Sbronze
Voto:
"Hospitals, jails, and whores: these are the universities of life. I've earned quite a few degrees. Call me doctor."
One must approach Bukowski with caution, and, while respecting His views, dear Miss DH, I must respectfully disagree; without expecting you to like Chinaski, I would delve into the context in which he wrote, and I would reserve the term slacker for our local Moccia.
You can still immerse yourself in the Brontë sisters or more uplifting texts, the publishing industry will surely cater to you; if not, there is an abundance of orators.

I appreciate the didactic intent of the review and the simultaneous "humility" of the reviewer immersed in the most intimate essence of debaser: the pleasure of sharing. 5 stars to cptgaio.

The Rolling Stones Bridges To Babylon

modest proposal: the Rolling Stones should retire from record production, as they have nothing to add to the tasty stew of the good old days, and for the joy of grandparents, children, and grandchildren, not lacking in repertoire, they should dedicate themselves to the nostalgia operation of mega live tours. It would be even better if various has-beens joined the initiative, e.g. Bowie, who hasn’t produced any noteworthy albums in years, Springsteen, who only makes sticker albums, and early old-timers who can fill stadiums with just a sigh, see U2. It would be great if they were followed by our homegrown champions, who could save themselves the trouble of producing greatest hits with a weak new track, and stop remixing (or worse, remastering) the same old tunes for 20 years.

In summer, gossip magazines are more widely tolerated, while on Debaser the showcase of trash is set up.

Certainly, Demian made an incorrect review, so 1 for the topic and 5 for the album.

Here we’re scraping the bottom of the barrel. I would propose to Demian to offer us the review of "kara kiri" by Pippo Franco.
Simple Minds Graffiti Soul
Voto:
@alia76 did you mean new gold dream? or sparkle in the rain? Simple Minds were a "sunny" new wave band, very melodic, with a leader, Jim Kerr, who had a knack for songwriting. A bit too repetitive, consciously epic, after the two mentioned episodes (let's call them the works of maturity) nothing more than a well-crafted FM pop rock band, sometimes brilliant but not very generous... considering their Scottish origins...

"subitaneously" I like, but the hyphen in "chicago-an" annoys me.

The video is infused with Lynch's morbid normality, the guitarist of SG, who had already appeared on Debaser as Osho, felt the piece was very Beatles-esque. Alas, the apocalypse doesn't arrive tout de suite, but day after day.
