Radiohead In Rainbows (CD2)

In Rainbows is the Radiohead album I've enjoyed the least and officially the one I like the least, but in this page, I believe someone missed that we were talking about the bonus disc of In Rainbows. Well, only Go Slowly, Last Flowers, and 4 Minute Warning are worth something more than the "mother" album of this work.

Come on, is this a joke? With this stuff, you can at most - and barely too - manage to have a wank (see also the homage to the practice of bukkake on the cover) when you’re eleven and still don’t know that having one requires focus, seed, and sweat.

What sense does it make to keep prolonging this atrocious torment, beyond a limit that is indecent and unseen, and to bluff everyone, even those whose opinions matter nothing to you, but see you as fools? Just stop it!

What can I say? Come here and learn how to write an unorthodox but still significant and emblematic review. It’s true what you say, almost like a speech RingoStarfish made about his review of New York (if I recall correctly), where, paraphrasing him, he essentially stated that, although different from one another, the various Lou Reed – at least the most significant ones – all deserve recognition, and for this reason, each has their own place. This album isn’t my favorite by FF, but it’s good. "Fiore" is probably the song that Vasco has never managed to write, and in "Ma finitela" Fiumani showcases a punk attitude that evokes some of the glorious past long lost since "In perfetta solitudine" and would put to shame a bunch of pseudo-bands that pass themselves off as such. Ah, the last paragraph of the review is a scream; I share it, and although "Locomotiva" is a great song, the reprimand to Guccini is spot on.

I had a Pooh moment. I was away on a trip, at my girlfriend’s place back then; I was in my hotel room, alone, and I believe I was feeling down because of the imminent day of departure from that city. Well, you won’t believe it, but - ironically - the lyrics of a song floated in through the window, and to say that they arrived just at the right moment would be an understatement, a euphemism. It went something like this: "I'm sorry I have to go, my place is there." It was them, they had come to pick me up. Needless to say, this was more than just a pat on the back; it was a real push. When you’re on the edge of a cliff. Thank you, Pooh!

My vote goes to the career. Unless there's any mental delay, of course.
