trip hop, yes. nice comment 2, but the review is acceptable (3.5). "Portishead is the only project that managed to place a 9-year-old track in a car commercial." with the reference to the 'sought-after' soundtracks of the commercials in question, it validates the whole review. great point.

fucking de-error. I was saying that, aside from the merits of precedence, "Exile in Guyville" has very little to do with "Rid of Me" and that the reviewer probably let themselves go a bit with some hyperbole, but the album in question is enjoyable and deserves a listen.

gh, however, I was basing my thoughts on personal judgments (for the little I know) and unfortunately I believe that musically, especially in the early stages as you rightly point out, his music hasn’t really stood the test of time, while still maintaining its charm, of course. As for the poetry, there’s nothing to say.
