"it's like talking about a brotherly friend: always there for you in times of need, always able to comfort you, always able to take you by the arm in moments of greatest despair and whisper: "hey don’t worry, it’s life, it will pass." clicked the bookmark on splinder rather than debaser?"

I liked their early works quite a bit, but I didn't feel this one. The review is full of useless clichés and is clearly written by someone who doesn't know much about it: "chart house suitable only for making some poor idiot dance" - real house does NOT chart, in Italy, with rare exceptions, very little house is played, and what "poor idiots" (bimbiminkia) dance to is not real house. "interactive pads, leads, vocals, strings, guitars, brass, and more" - also present in the house that you so snobbingly dismiss. "Groove Armada has previously created the guidelines for genres like house" - extreme nonsense (!). "Mutya from the Sugababes" - here we go. "too bad they're signed to Sony/BMG; I hope a major label never influences their ideas since they're so beautiful and pure.." - indeed, remixes and collaborations with Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Elton John, videos on MTV, tracks in multiple commercials, releases on Jive (one of the most commercial and reputable labels in the electronic scene), and of course Sony BMG, trust me, are more kitschy than you think. Overall a good proposal, considering the genre is rarely addressed in these parts, but you need to do better with the review.

@ giustiziere: have you never heard the term? It's an adjective like any other to mean "sweet" "tacky" etc. ;)

Why is it that every metal review always features terms like: viking, pain, putrid, epic, fog, warrior, etc.? >_< This review is too theatrical and cliché-oriented; I doubt the proposal will appeal to me.

I listened to 5 or 6 tracks from the album on YouTube. I'm not convinced. However, I definitely find them more synth pop than pop-rock-electronic. ;)

I quote 82. - ps: A southerner out without a hole... - ? misunderstanding, I couldn't care less about these distinctions and pseudo-pride. Actually, I would gladly run away; it's just another way of saying that I'm from southern Italy.

These are the classic clichés from a Nino D'Angelo movie. Don't generalize, I'm a terrone too and I understand the concept you want to express, but I find it simply obvious and out of place, like your latest post.

From the way you talk about it, it seems like poprockelectronic in the style of Garbage... something to consider then. You could have avoided some phrases about tastes, DM, etc., a bit out of place for the review. Anyway, I'll give it a listen.

a classic example of an average artist, "beatified" after death. typical of our culture.
