The disappointing "Through The Eyes Of The Innocent" was released in 2006 on the Croato-Slovenian label Moonle Records, (previously the promoter of the terrible Analena, and products aimed towards a screamo / melodic emocore with strong mainstream tones). It is precisely the latter (despite the Croatian band trying to hide it) that is most prominent on this their third full-length.
Disconcerting, considering they present it as an hc melodic band work (No Control have mercy on them), especially since the proposal in question is of the more sugary and adolescent kind, with attached screams from a fringed queer. Our fellows in total nothingness, nonetheless provide us with a few rare good peaks closer to the label they claim, such as the heavy "Watch Him Fall" and the fast-paced "Lajavo Pseto", the only salvageable tracks, which rely on the powerful screamed verses by singer Tin, though they regularly get lost in choruses that are decidedly too irritating, catchy, and whiny. The rest revolves entirely around this latter concept, with the difference that the "good verses" and the "drive" are missing.
A work that I do not rule out might please those who do not disdain modern ultra-melodic hc eastbay style, or the girls who drool over Alesana & co. Perhaps, these Croatian boys, aware of having produced an album to put on the shelf after only 2 listens, wisely decided to include a data CD containing the two previous albums in mp3 at 192 kbps.
Needless to say, they are even worse.
