The album wasn't bad; he's a good artist. I'm not crazy about it, but it's still worth acknowledging. Those who keep going on about bad luck are really demonstrating their idiocy. As mentioned above, it’s in poor taste and unfounded! I find the review a bit too theatrical; it tries to be funny but ends up being boring.

Lavezzi is overrated; on Sunday, with Samuel and Cordoba, you won’t get through :D
Back to the album, Genoveffa: points of view, I’m reviewing Garbage’s albums so that potential interested listeners can find a starting point on the web through this valid site, given that sources on this band are not many. So, even if track by track isn’t stylistically perfect, I find it a good "guide". I prefer (reading and writing) because I find track by track, even if lengthy, more useful than sappy and theatrical reviews where the only goal seems to be to find the most imaginative adjectives and throw concepts and avoidable metaphors here and there. Often, they discuss everything except the album itself. I find a straightforward and albeit cumbersome description more useful than a review where the reviewer expresses their feelings, etc., etc., but actually says nothing about the nature of the album itself. I’ve read many similar reviews. Anyway, giving this album 2 stars is excessive :)

Discone, my favorite by Nightwish. Granted, at times the lyrics may seem a bit too depressing and pessimistic, but that’s also the beauty of an album that’s anything but predictable, at least from a songwriting perspective.
It starts off very well, the powerful "Bless the Child" accompanied by beautiful lyrics, and the extraordinary "Ever Dream" alone are worth the price. "End of All Hope" is another great peak, with a remarkable Tarja. "Dead to the World" turns out to be the least enjoyable; I don’t care much for Marco's voice, and even though it's weak, I preferred Tuomas from the debut album. "Slaying the Dreamer" is just sufficient, losing points again for Hietala's irritating voice. "Forever Yours" is the best on the album and one of my favorites from their entire discography.
"Ocean Soul" is commendable, especially as you mentioned, for the superb lyrics; the keyboards are spectacular. "Feel for You" and (in particular) "The Phantom of the Opera" maintain more than high standards, and the ending with the suite "Beauty of the Beast" is good too.
I recommend reading the lyrics for a better understanding of this extraordinary work; 5 for the album. Good review; unlike many, I really appreciate track-by-track analyses that are concrete and valid, without getting lost in boring and theatrical descriptions where finding the most theatrical words and the most unlikely adjectives seems to be the only goal, while doing everything but talking about the album and the tracks. 5 to you as well.

I recommend reading the lyrics to fully appreciate this extraordinary work, 5.

this band is crap, but what aggressive and brutal? they are super boring, the only redeeming qualities are the stunning covers and the top-notch titles, but they are pure garbage like the following album which is the most boring thing I’ve ever listened to... should this stuff be amazing?? who knows

I haven't listened to it yet, but I really liked sufferion. I find the review to be reductive and cryptic.

decent album, but overall I find it one of the less beautiful ones by Nightwish. I agree that there are more boring tracks that weigh down the listening experience... the best by far is clearly "Bare Grace Misery" ...how come you dislike it? Following closely are the title track, "The Kinslayer," "Wanderlust," and "Crownless"... the rest is not very convincing.
