I really liked this review. And I also share a good part of your social perspective today. On one thing, though, I don't exactly agree with you ILMIGLIORE: I don't think this crisis alone is enough to ground people; we are most likely... CONDANNATI A MORTE NEL NOSTRO QUIETO VIVERE...

"It's hard to remain indifferent in front of a figure like P!nk": well, I manage just fine, this prototype of a teenager is immensely sad.
A review I don't agree with, but those are tastes.

Well, in fact, "history of music" seems quite exaggerated to me... anyway, they've made some great albums (BADMOTORFINGER is perhaps my favorite). Still, I listened to CARRY ON and EUPHORIA MORNING: giving a 1 is generous. For the unplugged, I could even give it a 2 instead.

Well, I mean... it's difficult to tear down an album like this, but in the end, it gets torn down. It's actually enjoyable to listen to because the original songs are stunning (or at least, I like them a lot), but here I only hear musical technique that by itself does not make an album; it’s just an end in itself. The same goes for "Master Of Puppets"; by the way, it sounds so bad that it could very well be the real Metallica. I don't know, maybe I'm strange, but I prefer the punk-rock bands of the '70s and '80s that technically had a lot to study and learn but played with heart and guts.

Beautiful review, the album just doesn't suit my taste, the twenty seconds of the sample are enough to get tired of it. I just wanted to say: BEAUTIFUL the cover photo!

"adolescents and post-adolescents." The reception would be a 1 but I want to be nice. The album... well, it's POOH, the usual 2 chords for 40 years...
Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon

@ CORVETTO: this is the third time I vote for the review (and I've given one star three times) and the third time I vote for the album (and I've given four stars three times), so it seems clear what I think of Pink Floyd, great musicians especially for their originality and compositional technique rather than for their instrumental technique. If I wrote what you read in my previous comment, it’s because I simply can’t navigate through your post; my eyes glaze over, two out of three times I don’t grasp what you’re writing. Anyway, as a non-obsessed admirer of Pink Floyd, I find it absurd and inconceivable to give this album one star, if only for the atmospheres created, for the importance it has had for myriad other bands, and for the genuineness of the Pink Floyd themselves, see LIVE IN POMPEI, a masterpiece of musical candor. There is a clip where you can see Mason lose his stick, grab another one, continue... and nothing was cut. I don’t think that would happen with today's concert DVDs.
