THE REVIEW

I have decided to review this album to express my opinion about these dear young lads who are defined (and define themselves as) EMO, PUNK, ROCK, very big terms, but in reality, what they know how to do is just a few pop tunes put together by record producers accompanied by a couple of ridiculous guitars.

These teenagers have also received awards for their "talent", but unfortunately today we have reached absurd levels. Tokio Hotel are leading young people to depend on these posers who do nothing but give them a false idea of "rebelliousness". I'm not against Tokio Hotel so much for their music, because there's even worse, and of course everyone listens to what they want, but above all, I am annoyed by their fake personality, their ridiculous look (Bill Kaulitz resembles the Super Saiyan from Dragonball) and their earning millions without doing anything at all. But let's talk about the album.

"Scream" is a collection of very low-value pop songs, like "Monsoon" or "Don't Jump", which present no valid musical aspects, such as guitar solos, difficult vocalizations, or interesting drum rhythms, and above all, the "songs" can easily be played by a guitarist, bassist, or drummer who has been playing for six months. These little songs have broken the meaning of EMO, PUNK, and many other noteworthy musical movements. This music is devoid of feeling, it was written to favor the music business and above all, it is characterized by a look that does not correspond to the genre (they dress like "Punk" but do not make punk music). I don't mean to offend anyone who might appreciate this group, but I am sure that these guys don't play for pleasure and even if they did, they are not noteworthy because I haven't found any excellent musical aspects whatsoever.

What can I say, I advise everyone NOT to buy this record and then... I await your assaults since the dear Tokio Hotel boys are liked by 70% of the youth. I don't intend to waste any more time.

"This band is truly incredible: they convey emotions but also pure adrenaline with songs like 'Scream', 'Monsoon', 'Ready Set Go', and 'Love Is Dead.'"

"To conclude among the negative notes, I can only point out a slight lack of originality which I hope can be filled with experience and time."

The album, despite the miraculous help of the studio, is horrible, so don’t even try to download it, you’d just be wasting your time.

Bill Kaulitz is a boy, moreover without a voice, who manages to be overshadowed even by the least pulsating bass of his friend Georg Listing during the live performance.
