"Let's talk about a historical manifestation of Italian Song, which always has elements of charm and interest and remains, despite everything, a mirror of our country." I fully agree: a country that musically lives off miserable stereotypes, of sold-out bastards, of a public that is 90% ignorant and/or shaped by advertising and mental apathy. A country where the music on television is the same Cotugnana lullaby since the 1950s. A place where that handful of good artists (some excellent) lives in the shadows, known to enthusiasts, waiting to be celebrated only when dead. Or when they sell out.

Yes, this MASTERPIECE by an artist who rejects the mainstream and television to exalt the underground and lash out against society with highly engaged lyrics and, above all, innovative music, surrounded by artists of great caliber and history, and accompanied by a cover that is anything but flashy, I think... ahhh ahhh no, come on, I can't do it... I wanted to play along, but it's just not working for me... ah, one more thing: you could have elaborated a bit more in the review of this milestone in Italian discography... ah ahhhhhhh!

Great recommendation! And to think I didn't know them. Thanks again!

PASKO are you kidding? You don't know the dear GIUDICEWOODCOCK? Random comments, insults, a plethora of banalities, and double 1s without listening to the records and I bet without even reading the reviews. There are sad characters like this in DeBaser, although they're in the minority...

The same songs for 40 years. Champions of banality. And then we complain that in Italy there are good bands that don't sell or only sell abroad...

Yes, I know the name, but the face doesn’t come to mind... and from the way you describe it, I don’t think I’m missing much... as for me, it’s been 5 years since I even managed to watch the games. They don’t make movies anymore, the entertainment programs are terrifyingly mediocre, and I gladly leave the state-run news to those who need a political leader to think for them. When I turn on the television, I look at the Teletext.

@YOSIF: I meant that he doesn't participate in various festivals and doesn't sing on TV, and that guy you mentioned, I don't even know who he is; what I know about television I read in newspapers or online.
@SENZASTILE: in fact, I haven't made any evaluations or comments about Mina, a brilliant singer that I have never followed and therefore know little about.

I'm really pissed off that Mina sent the video to Sanremo because she shouldn't have even thought about it. I hope she didn't actually go there in person. As someone who isn't a fan of Mina, I respect an artist who hasn't graced television in years and years. Until now, she was also one of the few serious artists who hadn't allowed herself to be caught up in this plastic falsehood that is Sanremo, a classic showcase for gossip and chit-chat for brain-dead people.
And I also read in a newspaper that these damned people even want to pay tribute to De Andrè! Scoundrels, can't you even stop in front of a dead person? A tribute to De Andrè... at Sanremo. Grotesque and abominable. Shall we also commemorate the Dalai Lama with the Chinese military?
