well....... with all due respect to Blackmore, Rainbow without Dio (but also Powell) are, aside from a few episodes like the avenger said (well, Blackmore is Blackmore until proven otherwise), not much. Of this album, which I don't know very well, the stroke of genius is definitely Difficult to Cure.

X Factor has probably made them much more pop than they actually are... the voice is indeed a weak point because they're too focused on harmony... anyway, apart from everything, they are characters because anyone who goes on Rai wearing a Vigolana shirt deserves a lot of respect... in my opinion, they have potential for the future; we'll see if they end up in a pit or manage not to become a commercial and contrived band.
