Oh my goodness, like "I've seen things that you humans wouldn't believe"... or was it just a "brainstorm"? The album is totally mind-blowing (even though I prefer "In Search of Space").
Thin Lizzy Fighting

I've always found them quite mature... it might also be due to Lynott's vocal approach, so unusual for hard rock, closer to certain things from American singer-songwriters.
Thin Lizzy Jailbreak

Not everyone can pair first-class hard rock with the intelligence of songwriters. Phil and his Thin Lizzy did it, resulting in a legacy that today seems to be remembered only by the Irish... Will there ever be a bit of justice in the world of rock?

I particularly appreciated the observations on the realism of special effects (even though I believe that man has actually been to the Moon). I also find that CGI is so unnatural – or rather poorly used in modern science fiction films (it's a bit better elsewhere: just look at the reconstruction work done in "Forrest Gump," for example). But if you’re looking for a true precursor of the (almost) final animated sequence of the film, you should look for it in the last pages of "La Ricerca Onirica dello Sconosciuto Kadath" by H. P. Lovecraft.

@Antoniodeste: sorry for the delay (I've been away for a week). The first one, "Mr Fantasy". The song is called "Berkshire Poppies". It makes me laugh like an idiot every time I hear it.
Banco del Mutuo Soccorso Io Sono Nato Libero

Very beautiful (for my favorite of the BMS I can't decide between the first and this one. "Darwin" after the first track is a bit repetitive). However, be careful: don't lump the Alunni del Sole together with the Cugini di Campagna!
Eli Roth Hostel

The review captures it well. I didn't really like the film: it’s not very original, stuffed with clichés (and the fundamental fear that Americans have when they travel) and not very sincere. I appreciated the bar where they play "Stella Stai" on repeat.

Anyway, I've always said that Inter plays dirty.

I rarely intervene to counter-comment on my reviews, but I am reminded of the opening piece of "Pappa di Latte" when the review concerns "Mina quasi Jannacci." If it has to be a critique, at least let it be on topic.
Matt Reeves Cloverfield

Nice, it manages to convince! Just one thing: do Americans, when they're scared and/or upset, only manage to say "Oh my God!" over and over?
