Van Halen Best Of, Volume 1

^ So let me tell you about the riff of D.O.A. (from the second album), which Cobain probably had firmly in mind. Anyway, I’m not really a big fan of best ofs either.

Finally, a comprehensive description of an album whose cover I have seen elsewhere and which piqued my curiosity - without being able to understand what it was about. Now let's see if I can track it down.
Thin Lizzy Johnny The Fox

It's my favorite by Thin Lizzy, and I also really like "Old Flame." In some nuances, this album reminds me of Rush from the same period. I admire Phil Lynott's courage to never be banal and to never give up his deep romanticism. And since Mr. Blackmore has been mentioned, I’d like to recall that the guitarist from Deep Purple, after leaving the band, contacted Lynott to form a new band. The two jammed for a few days, then each went their separate ways. I wonder what strange chemistry would have emerged from that.

I limit myself to voting (after all, just looking at the votes makes my opinion clear). I leave it to others to write the ten commandments of the cool rocker.
Thin Lizzy Bad Reputation

The review captures the essence of what one might find in the album (and provides me with useful information). I can't rate the album any lower, as it contains one of the Thin Lizzy tracks that I drool over the most: "Opium Trail."

I'm sorry, but I couldn't help myself.
Le Orme Piccola Rapsodia Dell'Ape

"Florian" is definitely more elegant, but this album has many incredibly interesting ideas. And there’s the energizing presence of a great Germano Serafin (brilliant BeatBoy for the dedication)!

Romantic and very charming.
Le Orme In Concerto

A sincere album with great historical value. Unfortunately, I've never appreciated "Truck of Fire" all that much, and I believe they could have included some songs that are excluded from the setlist of this live.

I found this review while clicking on "one at random," which caught my interest; I found the album and listened to it. Now I don't know how to thank you (I think that's a bit what happened to the author of the comment above). I hope many others can find this page.
