Pitura Freska Na Bruta Banda

@Giovanna: well, come on, Le Orme also came from Venice (and Patty Pravo, who isn’t a band...).
Julian Cope Krautrocksampler

Nice review. Cope plays the trick of making you believe his personal experience is a universal story, but he deserves credit for bringing attention back to an absolutely thrilling chapter in the history of rock. I assure you that finding a kraut CD before 1995 was quite a difficult task...
Franco Battiato Pollution

What a blow... does Battiato really deserve it? "Areknames" comes from the same realms as the early albums of Eno, in fact: it's even better!

It's a heterogeneous album with some bad songs, but to me "I would have waited forever" and "Shock to the System" felt like a modern version of the good old days, and they still remain two tracks that I really like.

Great review, really!! I particularly appreciate the attitude taken towards the rock of the past, which still retains a wonderfully fresh vibe.

Find out about what you’re going to see at the theater: it’s a better way to spend your next five minutes.
David Lynch Eraserhead
Voto:
You either love it or hate it... are the middle grounds really that terrible? As much as I like it, I find it a bit contrived and at times cloying. However, it's a work of great courage (and the guy in the house at the controls of I don’t know what is truly one of the most disturbing images I can think of). Of course, when Lynch brings more sincerity and humanity into his work, we’ll see something entirely different (I’m thinking of "Elephant Man" and "Blue Velvet").

You should hear how he imitates them and how he integrates them into an extremely cohesive musical context. It will be clear that, in this way, I can't share the judgment of "empty" given to the second CD of this beautiful album.
Carlo Vanzina I Mitici - Colpo Gobbo A Milano
Voto:
It's true that "I soliti ignoti" relies on the actors, but they aren't just there doing whatever they want: the actors have a purpose, and the director's job is certainly not the easiest. If I want to talk about actresses, I just wanted to highlight the wonderful Alida Valli.
Jon Anderson Olias Of Sunhillow
Voto:
I don't give the highest rating to the review because I'm tired of hearing that Milan is cold, damp, and gray (may I indulge in a bit of local pride?). I really like the album; I find it at times futuristic - especially for certain "world" references - and Anderson's vocal performance gives me chills.
