Really nice album. Essential review, but precise. Great page, in short.
King Diamond The Eye

When I bought this album, I had the feeling that King (my favorite character from 80s metal) was repeating himself (really "The Trial," for example, seemed to be based on "Bye Bye Missy" from "Them," but this holds true for other tracks as well). In my opinion, King Diamond's solo project regained significant interest starting from "House of God": more atmosphere, more variety, and psychological depth in the narratives, along with more modern production choices, the falsetto becoming more human and less shrill. From this album, I find "Behind these walls" to be one of King Diamond's most successfully Luciferian songs. Ah, how wonderful it is to see the nice memories of my adolescence resurfacing...

From how you describe them, I just can't picture them with cheerleader panties between their teeth.

Mine is also a "hazy" memory, and I might be wrong... we need a third opinion!
Tori Amos Strange Little Girls

Maybe a little tribute to Kate Bush could have been included in the setlist, considering how much (despite continuing to deny it) he is inspired by her (just listen to the backing vocals in the cover of "Strange Little Girl," identical to those used by Kate in the days of Hounds of Love).

The review is very pleasant, the film a no-frills pastime, done with professionalism nonetheless. By now, in Italy, we no longer know how to make B-movies like this: they are either the usual cinepanettoni that never change, or they are the sappy dramas with Scamarcio; in any case, outside our borders they have the slightest marketability, which generally does not bode well for our cinema. At least until the late '80s, however, thrillers, horror, westerns, Italian comedies (in short, genre cinema) ensured good earnings for producers and a market where "art films" could also be launched. Genre films also represented a good repository of ideas from which more ambitious films could draw or a valuable training ground for directors, actors, and crew members. Today, all of this almost no longer exists; the Italian film industry is in dire straits and constantly begs the state for money, which, for its part, finances only the usual four favored individuals in the hope that they will eventually win an Oscar and manage to collect a few coins abroad.
One thing for !Oasis: I may be mistaken (I saw this film a long time ago), but I seem to remember that the monster that came out of the belly was the child of a demonized pregnant woman, and so it was demonized in turn. An idea that was then copied exactly in the recent remake of "Dawn of the Dead."

I love bold comparisons! In my opinion, this album could have been a little better, but the cover is definitely fantastic.
