A lump forms in my throat just thinking about it. I wonder how Chaplin knew the human soul so well.
Tim Burton Mars Attacks!

The chandelier of Nancy Reagan... Glenn Close is stunning!!!
Gentle Giant Acquiring the taste

It's my favorite album by Gentle Giant, one of the most romantic works (in the literary sense of the term) ever released.

"Sera" is a track that shows how Le Orme were always one step ahead, at least in Italy. Here, they demonstrate that they had already grasped a certain new wave, and in the '80s, Battiato & Co. wouldn't have done much better or differently.
White Lion Fight To Survive

Great review, great album. Classy hard rock with a strong political awareness. I've always loved them (musically), especially Bratta's guitar.
Flash In The Can

An album of great freshness, with a Banks who plays as well as he never did with Yes.

I admit it without any issues: I only know the super famous tracks "Wordy Rappinghood" and "Genius of Love" from this album, and I've always loved the latter a lot since I was a kid, despite my musical "transformations." What a nostalgia...

I didn't hear the live, but I can imagine it!
Animal Collective Merriweather Post Pavilion

Am I speaking nonsense if I say it wildly reminds me of "Olias of Sunhillow" by Jon Anderson?

A charming album, perhaps with a nod to the Penguin Cafe Orchestra. Which, in Italy at the end of the seventies, was no small feat.
