Lucio Battisti Anima latina

Uh, a mystery that has been haunting me for a while has been revealed: the order of the tracks on the original cassette was really different! Here’s what I find on the site ANIMA LATINA | Io Tu Noi Tutti "ANIMA LATINA Musicassetta Numero Uno ZKN 55675; December 1974. Reprinted several times with the same cover, but with different graphic solutions used for the cassette. To ensure that both sides of the cassette have roughly the same runtime, the listening order of this edition is completely different from that of the album. Side A: Anima latina • Due mondi • Abbracciala abbracciali abbracciati • Gli uomini celesti. Side B: Gli uomini celesti (ripresa) • Due mondi (ripresa) • Anonimo • La nuova America • Il salame • Macchina del tempo • Separazione naturale." I repeat: it could be that I've become used to this order, but I find it nicer.

I comment today because in the last month I happened to pick it up again and started listening to it on repeat. The title track is among their best work. The review aligns with my thoughts on almost everything: the only thing is that I’ve never found Belanger’s voice to be that versatile. However, it has always fit perfectly within the band’s sound.

Beautiful page!
Kraftwerk Autobahn

I don't think Kraftwerk are talked about too little; here in Italy, they've always been a cult band (and also in the top 10, certainly with Trans Europe Express and, if I remember correctly, also with The Man Machine). They are truly delightful.
Maurizio Nichetti Volere Volare

An interesting review of a very funny film (Nichetti is definitely worth rediscovering). Beyond the animation, the legendary dubbing scenes in the "Tom and Jerry" style of the porn flick and the opening with the caring mother Finocchiaro (up until the surprise) are also remarkable.

Van Halen A Different Kind Of Truth
Voto:
This is the Van Halen sound I love. Roth is their ideal singer just as Ozzy was for Black Sabbath (both with their flaws, both with their charisma, and not just on stage). I align with the reviewer, except for "Blood and Fire," which, in my opinion, is even further removed from the Hagar phase and instead finds its roots in more intricate songs like "In A Simple Rhyme" and "Little Guitars."
Amon Düül II Wolf City

One of their albums that I prefer. To me, more than Jefferson Airplane, they evoke a Zappa who, having renounced jazz, wanted to take a round trip from Munich to Kathmandu.
Hayao Miyazaki Mirai shonen Konan (Conan, il ragazzo del futuro)

Votes that I gladly give to this review and this anime. What was the name of Conan's adventure companion, the one with hair that looked like a hut? One of the funniest things I remember from the television of my childhood.
