You hold the challenging task of judging the quality of Madonna's music. I believe that as a singer she doesn't amount to much and her music is more smoke than roast, and I say this despite the fact that my sister has been a fan of hers for at least 25 years.

Del Amitri Hatful Of Rain - The Best Of

Del Amitri were a really great band; "Drivin' with the Brakes On" is nothing short of fantastic. By the way, Stadio did a cover of it (not that exceptional, though). I was lucky enough to see them live in concert in Gampel, Switzerland in 1998. Unfortunately, after this '98 compilation, they went a bit like Litfiba, releasing a rather light album (...) and then the breakup. Their best album is the one from 1993 featuring "Just Like a Man" and other really good tracks.

Of course, there are many so-called experts on this site. Ligabue may or may not be to your liking, but to tear him down like that, as if he were just any Gigi D'Alessio, I'm not on board with. And then there are certain comparisons and phrases like "but Verdena and Afterhours are much better." Sure, they may be better, but they play a different kind of rock. It also seems to me that artists who sell less on this site are considered more important because they are niche, and therefore only a select few can appreciate their greatness.

In my opinion, Ghigo Renzulli's mistake was not changing the name of the Band. If they had perhaps called themselves Renzulli' rock project or Dinamo panza, they would have surely enjoyed more success and fewer sneers.

The album, as Fantozzi used to say, is a f...ing madness; I read that the dynamic duo has reunited for 3 new tracks and a tour together. Let's hope that after 10 years of separation they've relearned how to make good songs.

Eye of the Tiger is a track that will go down in the history of rock; they will mostly be remembered for this, but the album in question is not bad and is quite enjoyable. What happened to them?
