Pino Daniele Electric Jam Tour Live @ Pagani (Sa) 05.01.10

He has this fucking whiny and unbearable voice. I think it's the most annoying tone in the already chilling landscape of Italian "music." It wouldn't even be the worst, but with that fucking voice, how can you sing? Make your music for someone else, damn it. Despite the completely opposite tastes, it's a pleasant and well-written review.

With such great ass on the cover, they can only be electively likable to me.

I'm afraid I haven't seen anything by Romero, and that's objectively serious. However, you've strongly intrigued me with this "Diary of the zombie." I'll try to get my hands on it somehow.

I concede that it is a social critique that is not particularly refined, certainly a bit coarse, but this film is not exempt from it.

I will gladly follow your advice on Romero, whom I haven't seen (I know, serious gap).

Well... in the end, the alien persecutor ends up aligning with them and covers their escape, even though he doesn't know if this person will keep his promise to transform him back into a human. This seems like a nice twist of perspective for the protagonist NES. I disagree with you; the moral mutation definitely occurs. Then it falls into some clichés, but I can't quite dismiss it as mere nonsense. There is a minimum of introspection, and some themes are presented originally. Whether one likes it or not, it can't simply be called an exhibition of Hollywood muscle.

@NES, I think punisher is right: the dual interpretation is very much present. The physical mutation of the protagonist, for example, is a metaphor for his "moral" transformation. The social critique is evident and quite pronounced. In short ... it may not be an absolute masterpiece, but it's not the Hollywood blockbuster you describe either, and the reduced budget is further proof of that. It's a decent and commendable attempt to combine action cinema with meaningful content. All in all, one of the best films I've seen last year.

I really liked this division between "commitment" and action movie, as well as the documentary style that gives the film a very unique twist for a sci-fi genre. I also enjoyed the over-the-top review. The sequel (I imagine it will be District 10) is a must. An interesting work.
