Bill Condom ... here’s a product of bullshit explained.

The stunning debut of the Mars Volta and one of my favorite albums, full of bursts of pure genius. Eccentric, schizophrenic, unbalanced, and perhaps with too much going on, yet equipped with a crazy but coherent synthesis that they never recaptured in their subsequent unruly works (except for the latest Noctourniquet, which I recommend if you haven't listened to it yet). You did well this time (not like in the last review ;D), you've really conveyed the idea with a personal touch.

Damnably authoritative review. However, these Cult of Luna have never really captured me that much; listening to "The Beyond" left me rather cold despite being a fan of such sounds. It goes without saying that the aforementioned Isis and, even more so, Neurosis are among my all-time favorite bands. I guess I'll revisit the previous album and pay attention to this one as well.

How many Mango albums are missing? No... because I would have also gotten fed up.

In fact ... upon rereading the others, it becomes clear that there was indeed a need for an additional review.

Usually, duplicates on deb make me cringe. Especially for works that have already been discussed at length. However, this one is concise, knowledgeable, and perfectly on point. Very well done, I think it's among the best alongside Atom. But when it comes to tastes, one can really go wild; let's just say it's hard to pick a dud with Pink Floyd.

I'm too masculine to appreciate an author whose lyrics I attribute a certain (notable) depth to.
So I sent The Wiffe. 5 to Fosca and to the concert for the evening that the sacred wife was able to enjoy. Then you, as always, absolutely amazing. PROOOOOTTTTTTTT

How much sublime tackiness is contained in this marvelous cover. Just this alone would justify the purchase. A five to you regardless, take that!

And how can I not listen to you? By the way, like you, I am afflicted by a negative prejudice about Italian music production. Perhaps, as you say, hunger sharpens musical ingenuity. I have no choice but to resort to downloading, especially since the FNAC in Milan is closing its doors, and my learned pusher in-store has long been lacking all those new arrivals that used to adorn the shop, making it a truly unique venue for alternative music. I'm one of the last fools who loves to hold a CD in my hands, and I still keep my Subbuteo!
R.E.M. Up

All in all, in line with the mediocrity that, in my opinion, characterizes the entire output of REM. Up was, however, the only attempt—largely unsuccessful—to break free from the pop-rock style they have always been associated with, approaching more electronic sounds. And this paradoxically makes the work more remarkable compared to the pleonastic rest of their discography. 2.5 rounded to 3, take that.
