I admit I discovered it a few months ago and I find it very fascinating. It may be an inappropriate comparison, also because it's a different style, but it reminds me of certain things by Gianmaria Testa.

It’s not for everyone, let’s not kid ourselves. It’s a punch in the stomach, it hurts and leaves a mark. But it’s worth it. Truly great, currently playing is "Maria Antonietta," the title of the Italian album from 2012 (Fiumani is out of competition).

Noter de Brèsa are the most beautiful. I just remember that the remixes came out these days.

"strange distortion of the guitars," I'm curious. Throw me a couple more words on theme. Welcome to DeBaser, albeit with a slight delay.

Whenever I hear (or read) his name, I always have a flashback to two years ago. Back in my hometown, during the patron saint's festival. Normally, it's just a big show with the usual crowd—you know what I mean. Then he got on stage, saw the rows of politicians and elderly ladies sitting there. He put on a concert, seriously. As if there were a regular audience, as if it were a normal concert. The truth is, I only saw ten minutes of it; my peers were scattered between the local bar and the bars in the square. The kids stuffing their faces with candy. Ruggeri's contemporaries were checking out the stalls. We don't even have bumper cars or swings at the patron saint's festival. But we did have Ruggeri wanting to give a concert, not realizing where he was. There aren't even fireworks anymore, and the town is getting sadder by the day. Even now, I feel sorry mainly for Ruggeri, not for my fellow townsfolk.

It must also be said that good music is a family vice ;)

I don't agree when you say "it's like having Diaframma without bass and drums." Diaframma are Fiumani. The best albums of Fiumani's career are those where it's most clear that Diaframma are him: "Gennaio," "In Perfetta Solitudine," "Donne Mie." Fiumani, in the "Confidenziale" concerts, is spine-tingling (you were right to emphasize that for him it's an extremely important, yet often overlooked formula; he has one in Padova this Saturday. If I feel like it...). Different from the wild stage presence of Fiumani, but still spine-tingling. The rest of the review is a declaration of love that, as an aspiring "Diaframma Ultras," I can only share.

Before shedding some prejudices, one must first form a judgment, since I do not know them.

It's not fair! Those who arrive late are left with nothing when you've already said everything, right? (at least one of the 23 comments was mine)
