The album you don't expect. Or rather, the album you would never have expected from Melody Fall.

After achieving great success with pop-punk tunes, a major label backing, and the Sanremo experience, the band from Piedmont has turned their back on the past, seeking new shores in a much more impactful, clearly American sound. The final result is called "Virginal Notes", where we find ten well-structured tracks rich with various elements, often atypical when reflecting on the quartet's past. Some examples? Rapped and screamo vocal parts alternating with classic melodic tones, a balanced mix of electro parts, and finally a live approach typical of the hardcore movement.

Helping them out were several guests invited to participate on the album: Christopher from Ready Set Fall, Frez from If I Die Today, Biax from Last Day Before Holiday, and Alvin from No Time For, names and bands well-known in the national alternative scene. In short, whether you like it or not, it seems that Melody Fall (finally) wants to get serious, coming very close to what Enter Shikari and Attack! Attack! have done.

In conclusion, "Virginal Notes" manages to be appreciated, but to truly enjoy it, one must first be able to set aside all prejudices...

Are you capable?
