Nice review, paloz. I will try to listen to the album. The only note concerns Sigur Ros and the "Icelandic litanies"; could you clarify this definition for me? I conclude by mentioning Kafka, a writer I have always liked.
Pink Floyd Meddle

I enjoyed the review. Poetic, eccentric, original. Meddle is a beautiful album, however I don't consider it a 5-star record. In my opinion, the Pink Floyd lose a bit compared to Atom Heart Mother, my favorite of their work.

Lord, the Moody Blues were among the very first bands to use the mellotron. I believe it was already in "Days Of Future Passed."

Good reception. Here we are far from the Moody Blues of "Days Of Future Passed," unfortunately.

I fear I might be repetitive. Nice review, great proposal.

The Clessidra have two reviews here on DeBaser, both of which are beautiful. Honestly, I haven't delved into them further (I better get moving). I’d like to share my opinion on the Moody Blues; personally, I believe they can be challenging during the first listens, but as you continue, you realize the quality of their music (I’m referring especially to their early albums). I agree that the term proto-prog doesn’t carry negative connotations, or at least it shouldn't.

Genoveffa, let's put the matter to rest. You're right when you say that, to "unwind," Joy Division aren't exactly the best choice. Reading that sentence made me feel bad, that's all. Then to Bilquis, take it easy for a moment. I don't think anything serious happened; I simply took a phrase too seriously and didn't give it the right weight. It doesn't seem like such a big deal to me.

Don't worry McFly, you're forgiven. Welcome to DeBaser.
