you are filling a significant gap on the site...great closing line, however, I don’t agree with the exceptionalism of Elton John, which to me is just an adequate album and nothing more.

well done for digging up a rare bootleg... I listened to it for the first time a few months ago after watching and listening to various performances by the band from practically every year of their existence! the sabbath are always the sabbath, an unstoppable machine! maybe even better the live at asbury park in support of sabotage, but this one still deserves a solid 5!

The more I listen to it, the more I like it. I still have to buy the original, but I'm looking for the version with just the single album without all the surrounding frills... I want it because, besides having many other KISS records, it's perhaps truly their best release, if not from Love Gun then from Creatures of the Night! Not a masterpiece, but a great, energetic rock album...

It doesn’t seem like my kind at all, but the review is nice!

But what year is the album from? Good review but it suffers from too many "dry" phrases, too many paragraphs that don't make the discourse fluid... also, not much is said about the album itself! Anyway, it piques my curiosity.

I think it's a great review, and it's clear that you like EJ from the numerous reviews you've been giving him lately. So you’re doing very well to objectively discuss both the positive and the darker sides... I (unfortunately or perhaps fortunately) don't know anything about this period of the pianist, so I can't judge the product. As for the review, I reiterate what I said at the beginning of my comment: I believe it’s much more challenging to deliver a valid criticism than to praise a product, so I appreciate your writing even more!

Luckily, I’ve never heard it... but of course, Nikita is a great song! Speaking of the collaboration with George Michael, I remember that at Live Aid that same year, they performed a piece together; I think it was "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me."

I don't like these operations! The songs sound a hundred times better in their original context, that is, the album they belong to!

The review is simple, good, and humble, but a couple of grammatical and writing mistakes weigh on the judgment which, as far as I'm concerned, is a 4, not a full one... I haven't listened to the album yet, but regarding him, I still need to complete at least the listening, if not the purchase of several Dire Straits pages!
