King Crimson In The Wake Of Poseidon
Voto:
I read that you've already been criticized enough. Anyway, since KC along with VDGG are my favorites, I think the album you reviewed, aside from being beautiful, had a somewhat difficult genesis. For the English critics, this was the poor man's version of the previous album. But then again, it's well-known that in the UK they've never liked progressive rock. Still, in my opinion, the true masterpiece of the first phase of King Crimson remains In The Court... My favorite track? Epitaph above all. But in reality, I love all Crimson compositions immensely. Cheers.

You've already said it all. Beautiful album. This, along with Nadir's..., are my favorites.

I still jealously own the vinyl. I remember buying it just a few months after its official release, as it was put on special offer right away. Oh my, it's a bit ugly as a record. I mean, the recording is awful. But I think that jerk Fripp, whom I adore, did it on purpose. He is the King and we are nobody!!! Arrogant and brilliant, as always.
Robert Fripp Exposure
Voto:
My vote might scandalize some. I was born, musically speaking, with King Crimson, of whom I possibly own the entire discography – although it's nearly impossible to keep up with their output. I love the various phases of the Crimson King and I adore Fripp's irksome genius and arrogance. Paradoxically, I have never overly praised this particular work of his. So many guests – my beloved Hammill, Eno, Gabriel, and the great vocalist Hall among others. Yet, it hasn’t convinced me all that much. Perhaps because I love this gentleman too much, I take it upon myself – mine and only mine – to criticize him when he doesn't satisfy me. Not everything he produces has to be golden. And fortunately, he has made very few missteps.
Jethro Tull Nothing Is Easy: Live at the Isle of Wight 1970
Voto:
I haven't heard it yet. Anyway, thanks for bringing back a time and a concert that made rock history. I loved Jethro Tull up to Aqualung. Then their decline began (by the way, I don't particularly care for Thick as a Brick either), perhaps due to too much self-indulgence or simply a creative dryness. Nevertheless, they are great!!!!
Eagles Desperado
Voto:
I was born in 1960, so when I started listening to "serious" music along with many other friends, the Eagles - more or less - were spinning on my turntable. Certainly overrated, yet this album contains the best of the band. Which says a lot. Bye.

Incredible! And to think I believed I had almost everything about the BOC!!! Thanks for the tip. What a group, though. Whenever I listen to On Your Feet... I still get chills.
Daniel Lanois For The Beauty Of Wynona

I've never liked this album. Boring and inconclusive. Overrated.
Ultravox Ultravox!
Voto:
Perhaps the best of Ultravox! Well done!!!!!
Frank Zappa Wazoo

However, I prefer Apostrophe and Overnite Sensation. But Zappa's discography is so vast that it's hard to make a ranking.
