I find them pathetic. They give me the feeling of sterile, harmless, inconclusive power. It’s like watching a bodybuilding competition with all those oiled-up fake Adonises and you feel a sensation that’s a bit nauseating and a bit amusing, but certainly not fearful.

I read his beautiful "Generazione Ballo/Sballo," which in the new edition is called "Energy Flash" (like the original) and deals with rave culture. Highly recommended.

Adam Sandler is really annoying. However, Punch-Drunk Love and Funny People are great movies. This one made me quite cringe and it's nothing more than a sort of variation of Bruce Almighty (which isn't a masterpiece to begin with).
