LA RECENSIONE

The production in question perfectly represents a series of things: the medium capable of taking you straight to the world of gaudiness, arrogance made into music, and the process of lobotomization affecting 9 out of 10 teenagers.
The entire work of the Millionaires is so obnoxiously superficial, indifferent, and so unlistenable that it is impossible not to find it hateful if you have an IQ above 5. Just take the album title, and you'll get an idea of the content. If that's not enough, I’ll translate a couple of verses from the song Alcohol (punctuation for the Millionaires is not cool enough).

Friday night time for a party
let's get down and be playful
the girls talk too much, we don’t care
we'll launch our panties!

come on let's make some noise!
give me my alcohol
let’s get wasted a bit!
A-L-C-O-H-O-L

this bitch is trying to get a shot
what else does she have?
jaeger, vodka, even whiskey
down that shit, don’t be a...
wuss

Now is the concept clear? This EP is too absurd to be true. I don't want to play the prude or the moralist here because I'm not; I'm the first to get drunk or fool around, but I certainly don’t boast about it! There's nothing cool about getting drunk and throwing up your soul behind a bush. Nothing. But for the Millionaires, no. For them, being drunk is routine and a message to promote. Get drunk, have sex with a stranger (don’t worry, animals are fine too!), get pregnant, and then go abort! It’s soooo cool.
I don't think there's much point in analyzing the lyrics of the other songs in the EP, but I would like to point out that in the song Talk Shit a message is directed at the haters. To people like me they say: "You're the ones who fuckin' made us." Well, I certainly didn't buy your album (you know, there are about 12 billion ways to listen to music on the internet without paying) and I try to let the world know how ridiculous you are. And anyway, don’t worry, in a couple of years no one will remember you anymore, so you won’t have to think about who hates you.
I focused more on the message as it's the most trashy aspect of the production and musically speaking, there isn't much to say; to use an understatement, this EP sucks big time. The singer is completely out of tune and everything sounds terribly idiotic, halfway between Techno remixes of Hitler's speeches and a man burping to a minimal beat. It wouldn't look out of place only at a party where people have drunk too much to stand upright.
