Joking aside: horrible review. "We recommend"??? Pluralis Maiestatis? There exists a "Black Album" far more famous than Jay-Z's. You don’t mention that Linkous has passed away. And above all, you don’t explain the genesis of the album: that at first the labels didn’t accept it, so Sparklehorse & Danger Mouse decided to sell the packaging (designed by David Lynch) containing a blank CD-R. Only later, riding the lucrative wave of Linkous's death, did the major label decide to cash in by selling it in stores. The album is very good.

Feeco! Now I'm going to check it out. I recommend fans of FBYC to also download for free the beautiful EP by verme, a mega underground group, featuring members from dummo, Hot Gossip, and, of course, Fine Before You Came (on vocals).

Nice! However, your reviews are a bit too academic for my tastes (debatable, of course) and all focused on the same genre. But I do have the album on CD, and William Orbit's arrangements are unbeatable, no no.
