The cover of the XX is perfectly useless as it is identical to the original.

Nice record, but all in all forgettable and a bit too "cold." Better to dust off the OMD at this point.

An album that is pleasantly listened to and then forgotten, a bit like all of Shakira's albums. It's enough for us.

I didn’t say they sound bad live (but, I repeat, in a somewhat nice track like "Rise Today" they really resemble Nickelback), it’s just that (in the video I posted, "Blackbird" live in Milan, 2008) the singer has a disgustingly fake and campy attitude (not camp à la Frankie Goes To Hollywood, which would be cool... but camp à la Solange) and to keep it short, to keep it brief, my dear host, bring us something to drink, to drink, to drink! The director (definitely a leftist type, as seen in his other works Camicie Verdi and Bandiera Viola) really does stay a bit too reserved in this film; he doesn't say a word, doesn't comment, doesn't express anything... and in my opinion, that's exactly where he goes wrong.
