Mmmm, oh my god, you haven't pulled out groups that shy away from somewhat niche commercial operations (at least regarding Muse and DT), but beyond that, it's always inappropriate: TV needs to gather the widest audience possible, so you should showcase something that might appeal to everyone, like pop music, and not niche stuff (no matter how great the niche may be). Furthermore, the whole demonization of television doesn’t hold much weight when talking about Great Britain…

I'm currently listening to "Nothing Gold Can Stay," and I think it's not bad at all. The last decent recent pop-punk album I've heard, in my opinion, is GNV FLA by Less Than Jake, give it a try.
