The Infarto, Scheisse! The Infarto, Scheisse!

Now they are called Heart Attack. And that's it. And they have improved a bit.
Girls Broken Dreams Club EP

The first one is almost a 5. This is negligible. The second one is coming out soon. I hope they haven't made a super steep downward curve.
Modeselektor Happy Birthday!

I'm not crazy about the album as a whole (I like Moderat much more), but "Let Your Love Grow" I enjoy dancing to in my head from time to time.
Paolo Sorrentino This Must Be The Place

Sean Penn, dressed like a delayed Robert Smith, scares me quite a bit.
About Wayne Rushism

More like a press kit than a review.
The Futureheads The Chaos

The first two are another story. Here there's skill but very little drive.
Armin van Buuren Mirage
Voto:
Heavy review for a heavy album. In my opinion, the Buuren in question may be great with his radio show and DJ sets, but when it comes to albums of original material, he is not as convincing as Tiesto. Long, boring, polished, and not very original. Slightly better than the previous Imagine (which shares a very dull cover) that at least has some gems like "Going Wrong."
Nanni Moretti Sogni D'Oro

The comparison to Allen is likely derived from the fact that the similar Stardust Memories (also based on the mental struggles of a director, complete with Fellinian quotes) was released the previous year.

I am not a metal expert. And even so, I can say that "Too Extreme" is not a metal piece. At least not in the classic/orthodox sense of the term. But it's not a bad track: it's heavy as hell, albeit in a way that a metalhead might not expect. It’s irritating and annoying: it sounds like a jackhammer out on the street at 2 AM while you’re trying to sleep, but it never stops drilling. In a way, it’s a truly successful piece. Maybe it could have been smoothed out somewhere, but if the rest of the album is like this, I would say it’s a very interesting album. Of course, purists won’t like it. You need to have a somewhat open mind to appreciate it.

Damn, I don’t want to be harsh and I understand that it’s an independent production. But it really looks like PlayStation 2 graphics and the "virtual actors" are not expressive at all: in a horror game, that seems like a fundamental thing to me. The driving part is nice, I hadn't seen that.
