Cheffico, you quoted my review :D. I'm listening to it now and it doesn't sound bad at all: I really like the piano flourish during Ego.

I'll tell you: a few months ago I listened to all their albums because I was probably going to see them live at a festival, and among all of them, this one bothered me the least. However, still on the edge of decency. They can't be seen live: they looked like bikers, with no voice, by the way. I left 10 minutes after the start.

Anyway, this review was to say that GTA III was the first game truly able to make you feel like a criminal. It certainly wasn’t the very first game of its kind. There were previous installments in the series that always exploited the concept of free roaming but were in 2D (“almost” 3D) with a bird's-eye view. And there was Driver 2 (very nice, for psx) which was in 3D and allowed you to steal cars (but not to kill pedestrians), but it wasn’t completely free roaming (there was the standard "In mission" mode and the "free ride" mode). GTA III combined these elements: a game that, when you inserted the DVD into the console, immediately plunged you into the action without any introductory menu mediating the experience. I would also like to briefly mention the beautiful radio stations you could listen to once in the car: one for every music genre, some favorites of the different gangs in the city. For example, the Italian mafia listened to "Double Cleff FM," the opera radio with pieces by Verdi and Mozart. K-Jah, the reggae station (revived in San Andreas). Flashback FM, whose playlist was made up entirely of tracks from the Scarface soundtrack (composed by Giorgio Moroder). Notable also were MSXfm (drum and bass), Rise FM (trance), and Chatterbox, a hilarious talk radio show at least if you can handle a good amount of English (the ads are also laugh-out-loud funny). They all featured tracks that weren’t famous but were nonetheless excellent. The PC version would then allow listening to your own mp3s.

There was already a review of this album, but it wasn't enough. A masterpiece and a forgotten precursor of bands like Devo and many others.

Someone should review De La Soul, as they are a glaring omission. Unfortunately, I'm not knowledgeable enough.

"Buggin out, buggin out, buggin out you're buggin out" This record is a show. It's been a while since rap was on DeBaser and an album review even more so. It reminded me of Zion: what happened to him? He was really into it.

A very nice album, even if at first listen it might seem a bit trivial. It demands attention, but it deserves it.
