Queen A Kind of Magic
Voto:
I'm sorry, but the review isn't great and I don't agree with the concepts expressed at all: to this album, just sticking to the eighties, I prefer The Works (hammer to fall, is this the world we created, and it's a hard life are worth the price of admission alone) and also The Miracle, maybe less rock but with a couple of epic tracks. Of this, I especially appreciate Who Wants and the two hard tracks at the end. Anyway, I don't want to be harsh on Queen; they were one of my main loves and, well, it's a hard life.

Well done. I didn't know they were back. Maybe I'll give it a thought. So many tears over keep on lovin' you, hi infidelity was an album I loved a lot. Just a step below my beloved Toto and Styx, but definitely a great band. Nice review (4.5).

how to make unbearable i still haven't found what i'm looking for? simple, you just add three minutes of gospel wailing and the result is that you won't be able to listen to the joshua tree version anymore. overall, the problem with this album is precisely its inconsistency; there are very beautiful tracks (all i want is you), successful covers (helter skelter, the same all along...) but the americanization of the product is annoying (i can't stand angel of harlem and when love comes to town doesn't exactly make me tear my clothes in joy). a presumptuous project that didn't fully succeed in closing a decade in which our band had done great things. the subsequent albums aren't bad (especially achtung baby) but in my opinion, something had already broken. oh, the angel of harlem is billie holiday, in case you missed it.
Hothouse Flowers Born

discreet (although somewhat verbose and rambling) review, I don't know the album but the first two by the Hothouse Flowers were excellent. I'll try to get it.
Nanni Moretti La messa è finita
Voto:
What can I say? An excellent review for one of the most intense and painful films by the great Moretti.
Mike Oldfield Ommadawn

disaster!!! the form is also correct (apart from olefield), but damn, what a dreary lineup of redundant Arcadian images and diabetic risks for the reader. You definitely didn't make me want to listen to the album, which I don’t know.

Alessio: you are a pseudo-person with a pseudo-intellect. Sometimes you might reason, but the tone of your conversation is disgusting and your tendency towards aggression is truly intolerable. pseudosaluti

I really liked the review and I mostly agree with the judgment on Baustelle, although I admit I don't know them very well. Best albums of 2008? Italian ones without a doubt are Studentessi E&LST, Winterthrough by Hostsonaten, and the upcoming work by DFA (it's not out yet, but I'll vote for it on trust). I absolutely don’t dismiss Trisector by Van der Graaf Generator, but I'm waiting for something else.

Well, it seems obvious to me that the author of Horizons is Steve. But I also remember reading that his debut was After the Ordeal. Who knows?

I honestly like it a lot, way too much. As for the PIL, I have my reservations, although they have still made something almost listenable.
