Aphrodite's Child Best of Aphrodite's Child

great choice, important group. as a child, I hated that chubby guy who appeared very often on TV with that falsetto voice: I've changed my mind a lot! great artemios and obviously the great evangelos.

@ sevenstones: someone with a nickname like that (I like to think it's due to the Genesis song, correct me if I'm wrong) can say whatever they want. Especially if they do it like this. In the end, I don't doubt that, between Rodgers and May (the hoarse drummer, no, I haven't been able to appreciate him for at least 15 years; the times when I used to say "well, I'm in love with my car is a decent song" are long gone), they can come up with something more than just listenable. But the nostalgia for the real Queen on one side and the great bands with Paul Rodgers on the other pushes me to reject this project. That’s all. Maybe you're right instead, but in the end, it's not like you gave it a 5; a 3 out of respect seems, all in all, in line with what I could give, but I’d rather save it. Also because I fear it would hurt me.

Once again, I won't buy it nor will I go see them live. I've loved the Queen (since my teenage years, back in the days of Jazz and The Game, to be clear, but even in middle school with News of the World they impressed me a lot) a great deal, but there's no way they can resurrect the name without Freddie and without Deacon (and don't tell me that a bassist is interchangeable; technically it’s true, but John was a very important part of the group, not to mention the author of the best songs in my opinion, from "Spread Your Wings" to "You and I"). As an adult, I've really adored everything Paul Rodgers has done, from Free to Bad Company to the present day. He is one of the best vocalists in the history of rock. But this project has holes all over the place. Freddie is gone, the Queen aren't doing well. Enough, please.

excellent review, I will buy it as soon as possible. This year I have already greatly enjoyed hostsonaten and I am eagerly awaiting a future fourth chapter of MDC. Great Zuffanti, but great also Valle, Macor, and the excellent Mau Di Tollo.

the review is excellent, I will probably get the album, even though I wasn't thrilled with Roberto Gatto's (I found it a bit dull, a bit "faustopapettiano", and the tracklist seemed a bit lacking in courage), especially due to the tragic coincidence of the great Rick's death.
We will miss you!

Thanks to everyone.
ocipuk, who are you? I think I know you even in rtr.
daduzza, you're right, it should have been mentioned that regular CDs cost about 20 quid, actually 10 each because they are bought separately.
What to say? Download if you want, but buy. As for the overhyped Marillion, I don’t know, what should I say? They sell around 100,000 copies per album, they've been on the brink for 12 years now (and every time they have to come up with some "crazy" idea to get attention) and they're overhyped? Who knows what the Dream Theater must be then?

@newromantic: you're also funny, but I would like to understand the meaning of your intervention. This way we can avoid jumping straight to insults :)
