To the review and to the artist.
Michael Patrick King Sex and the City

It's a pity that TV series and sitcoms can't be reviewed. "Sex & the City" was an innovative series; it knew how to talk about sex and display it without unnecessary inhibitions and managed to avoid the risk of an exaggerated feminism, too ridiculous for four career women who are now emancipated. A major cultural phenomenon, the series. But the film does not meet expectations. If it’s not to be considered a commercial move, it's at best a commemorative moment. The direction desperately tries to contain in two and a half hours the different stories of four women without uniting them with any precise connective thread; the plot unravels and hangs entirely around the failed marriage between the protagonist and Big, which will eventually be celebrated, as per the script in all romantic comedies. The cynical eye, the wit, and the intellectual insights of Carrie the writer are missing. Here we only have Carrie the future wife. Not a 5-star film.

Alanis Morissette Flavors Of Entanglement

I haven't listened to the album yet, but I think a clarification regarding the review is necessary: "So called chaos" is not an underrated album but an underwhelming one, as it does not hold up against "Jagged little pill," her masterpiece, nor against "Supposed former infatuation junkie," her turning point, nor with "Under rug swept," her most immediate album, especially commercially. After the greatest hits, expectations are high, in the hope of closing a chapter that was already showing signs of agony (the last album, indeed). She is nonetheless an artist to be appreciated, managing to capture the attention of both critics and the public, unlike her peers such as the now-lost Liz Phair and Sheryl Crow. I will listen soon.

For the review, the idea was original, but I agree with Sister Genevieve. The group is quite mediocre.
Olivier Dahan La Vie En Rose

Marion Cotillard proves to be an exceptional performer in an extraordinary film. I didn't expect anything monumental from "La vie en rose"; I thought it would be just another semi-boring biography, the kind often made, interesting only in the parts that reveal the dark moments of the subject's life. Instead, here the chronological line is cleverly broken and stitched back together, maintaining a good pace and never losing the viewer's attention. Beautiful, beautiful, like the review, although a tad promotional ("Amici di Debaser..."?? But who are you? Wanna Marchi in disguise??) but still good.
Fausto Brizzi Notte Prima Degli Esami

An inconsistent movie just like its protagonist, neither good nor bad, indeed. The sequel only served to further diminish the already wobbly credibility of the cast and the director, who is so charming and appealing but, in the end, very much reminiscent of Moccia. I didn't like the review much: besides the plot, it only mentions that it's a movie that succeeds halfway, which it indeed is, but what then? It doesn't deserve the three stars...
Oasis Wonderwall (singolo)
Voto:
The catchiest song of the group, but there have been others that were far better. As Noel Gallagher said during an interview with "Rolling Stone": I thank "Wonderwall" for allowing me to pay the bills. And this says a lot, not so much about the quality of the piece as about its role within the band's discography...
Ryan Adams 48 Hours

Okay, rikii... the thing is I remembered that photo from the "Gold" booklet, not from this "48 hours."

But are you sure you've seen "Dracula" by Francis Ford Coppola?
