THE REVIEW

This is definitely the ultimate masterpiece by Oasis and perhaps the greatest song of the '90s, the one that most represents the true essence of Britpop, a real anthem for fans of the genre.

'Wonderwall' is certainly a very simple piece, without any special chords, but often the simplest things are also the most beautiful, and this song is a glaring example of that; Noel Gallagher, by writing this song, hit the heart of everyone, anyone who follows music knows this song, a piece to dedicate to your loved one.

However, this single does not contain only 'Wonderwall', it also features 'Round Are Way', a great b-side that accompanies the main song well, 'Swamp Song', another good piece but nothing more, and a chapter apart deserves 'The Masterplan', a b-side that any other band today would release, not only as an A-side of a CD, but as a single. Songs like this are seldom heard around, it is simply splendid, especially live, which along with 'Don't Look Back in Anger' is the one that most engages the audience. This track is written (obviously) and sung by Noel, proving to everyone who still had doubts that he is certainly one of the greatest geniuses of the '90s... and he will be for many more years.
