(…) It seems to me that socialist societies foster a state of eternal helplessness in people, because the state subscribes to and guarantees the well-being of the people. Creativity loses its momentum because it is no longer a necessary quality for survival. Thus, the system creates a class of people whose creativity is used solely to come up with ways to exploit the system. Consequently, this dead weight burdens those who, out of pride or necessity, actually work.

It seems to me that when relying on someone else for one's livelihood, one automatically sells their soul, passing into a condition of slavery. Perhaps the only exception is the mother who does not work, dedicating herself to the family, accepting the loss of a certain economic independence. Without income there is no freedom, and even if it can be fun to laze around for a while, in the end one must face their own ineptitude and submission by telling themselves a bunch of lies to maintain a minimum of self-image and personal value. In the end, the lack of personal worth or the charisma of self-sufficiency appears in life, through various and unpleasant incidents full of negativity that confirm the unrest simmering beneath the surface.

If those people considered helpless were taken away from the nurturing hand of the government that feeds them, we would be amazed to see how they would immediately run to work the next day. This is because, even if these people have a legitimate interest in maintaining a facade of circumstances that render them helpless, at the same time they are not willing to starve. The problem is that the systems developed in Europe and the United States are not easy to dismantle because the people receiving various subsidies (38 million in the USA) are also voters. No politician can go on the podium and tell the truth. Furthermore, politicians have a natural tendency to dispense money left and right. First, it’s to gather votes, and second, it's not their money.

But in the end, these socialist societies will fall apart because the weight of this "generosity" in constant expansion is causing the collapse of the global economies. However, rather interestingly, it will not be the economy of this absurdity that will bring them down; instead, metaphysics and the psychology of socialism will ultimately modify the system.

Each of the people currently coddled and supported is aware on some level that they are accepting the metaphysical weakness imprinted in their way of thinking by the psychology of helplessness. This ultimately creates a society in which people feel that everything is helplessness and that life is meaningless. These kind of insipid and empty emotions are emitted from people's psyche, and they begin to change the outer circumstances of life. Thus, these people fall into an increasingly deep spiral of apathy that dulls the mind and they seek any respite they can find. As a result, drugs, violence, alcohol, and casual sex become the only escape routes. As morality shifts, our societies deteriorate and, ultimately, there is no way to alleviate discontent. The unrest feeds itself because the enthusiasm and charisma of self-sufficiency, which would allow people to feel involved, to feel they matter, and that they could contribute to making the world a better place, do not exist.

In the end, this lack of relief transforms into anger. As anger grows, society tries to find outside itself something or someone to blame. Eventually, the only way to ease people's anger and discontent is to all go to war. Think of Germany in the 1920s and 1930s. During those years, the inhabitants of that country and their government suffered from a horrific economic collapse, so it is easy to understand. Or take Iran. When, at the energy level, Ayatollah Khomeini failed to deliver the Islamic paradise he had promised to his people, the only alternative was to let frustration out by declaring war on the neighboring Iraq.

War serves several functions. First of all, it acts as a "clister" for the despair and anger experienced by people. Secondly, it distracts everyone and hides the failures of various leaders. Thirdly, it involves everyone, and life gains a new meaning when people find their value in the heroism of disaster. Moreover, society and the economy are destroyed, which provides a good justification for the government. The system can be restarted from zero, with some dents here and there, but with a new scenario.

Greet with joy!
