The Queers Love Songs For The Retarded
Voto:
I've never listened to these Queers, but I see there's talk about Screeching Weasel, which I nostalgically listen to on repeat, especially two tracks (Sunshine and Dingbat). and
Times New Viking Dig Yourself

I bought an issue of Blow Up in October 2008 (I pick it up once or twice a year), which devoted ample space to this "Shitgaze" phenomenon. I don't see what's particularly new about coining a new term, much like today there's talk of "Stonegaze" with the True Widow album. In short, unnecessary labeling, but the bands in question are incredibly interesting. I still haven't figured out if Blank Dogs are also "Shitgaze," but I think they don't even know what they're writing.
Fantasy Paint A Picture

I thought there was already a review of this, but instead no, great job.
The Cure Pornography

It’s good for hearing; as for sight, I couldn’t say.
Peter Hammill The Silent Corner and the Empty Stage
Voto:
Interesting the review that analyzes a discussion between the serious and the facetious; the conversation about what is Pop or not may seem trivial, but its aim is to convey how sincere and human this seemingly complex work is, which can only be understood through gradual analysis over time. You talk about the first listen of "Pawn Hearts"; initially, it didn't attract me that much. It's not the same style of Progressive or Rock in general that a beginner listener seeks out, but in the long run, personal tastes prevail, and especially the man with his virtues and flaws, the poetic essence of Hammill comes to the fore. However, I think the Coldplay have done something nice too; I'm a masochist, I know.
Antonello Venditti L' orso bruno

An album with an autobiographical title.
Pink Floyd The Wall

Colossal, I have no doubt that this is by far their best work, also worth acknowledging Ruggero Acque who has contributed a small part to this work.
Omar Rodriguez-Lopez The Apocalypse Inside Of An Orange

The mental health of this reviewer is not excellent; I can only admire him. Among the few solo works of his that I have listened to, this is the best.
Man Live At The Padget Rooms, Penarth
Voto:
Spotted several times, but not yet explored in depth, they will likely perform better on this Live than on disk, so I will look for this first.
Vasco Rossi Non Siamo Mica Gli Americani

I believed that we're living in America.
